Cooking timer

Short version: Evkeros doesn’t collect anything about you. On the App Store its data collection is declared as “Data Not Collected”, and that’s the whole design.

What’s stored, and where

Your recipes, steps, and timers are stored locally on your device. They aren’t uploaded anywhere. I don’t run a server that receives them, because there isn’t one. If you delete the app, that local data is removed with it.

Notifications

Evkeros uses local notifications to alert you when a timer finishes. These are scheduled on your device by the system and never leave it. No notification is sent through my servers or any third party, because there are none involved.

No tracking or analytics

There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. I don’t know how many times you open the app or what recipes you make.

Purchases

The one-time Lifetime Premium purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; I never see your card details or any personal payment information. Restoring a purchase uses your Apple Account, which Apple manages.

No accounts

There is no sign-up and no login. You don’t give me an email, a name, or a password to use Evkeros.
