Cooking timer
If something isn’t working or you have a question that isn’t answered below, email me at support@blooming-island.com. It’s me on the other end, so please include your device and iOS version.
FAQ
- A timer didn’t go off. What happened?
- Timers rely on local notifications. If notifications are turned off for Evkeros, the alert won’t appear or make a sound. Open Settings → Notifications → Evkeros and make sure Allow Notifications, Sounds, and banners are on. Also check that the device isn’t muted or in a Focus mode that silences alerts. The countdown itself keeps running while the app is open, even if the notification is blocked.
- I paid on another device. How do I restore Lifetime Premium?
- The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, not to a single device. Open Evkeros, go to the purchase screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still doesn’t restore, email me.
- Will there be a subscription?
- No. Evkeros is free with a single one-time purchase for the premium features. I don’t plan to add subscriptions or accounts.
- Are my recipes backed up?
- Recipes are stored locally on your device. They are included in your normal device backup (iCloud Backup or an encrypted Finder/iTunes backup), so if you restore a new device from a backup, your recipes come with it. Evkeros does not run its own cloud sync, so there is no copy of your recipes on any server.
- Can I get a refund?
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by me — I never see your payment details. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the Evkeros purchase, and request a refund there.
- Which devices does it run on?
- Evkeros requires iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or macOS 14 or later. It’s available in 9 languages.
